A local non-profit healthcare organization has engaged Robert Half to find an EHR Data Analyst. While this role is primarily remote, there will be occasional time in their Bloomington office. Candidates should live within driving distance to the Twin Cities and reside in either MN or WI. The role involves creating healthcare data analytics using various reporting tools, developing and distributing reports, designing queries, and collaborating with providers and end-users. This role brings with it an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who has a knack for understanding and implementing operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

Develop and review periodic and ad hoc reports using tools like Access, SQL, EHR, JavaScript, Excel, and Power BI.

Collaborate with internal teams to define and maintain a data environment that supports clinical, financial, and operational measurement, reporting, benchmarking, and decision-making.

Utilize data to identify process and organizational improvement opportunities.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of data requests.

Understand and maintain current operational/clinical workflows, especially those related to the EHR system.

Analyze, design, and support the implementation of requirements related to the EHR system.

Collaborate with the team to develop data requirements and test new functionality to meet operational requirements.

Perform basic and advanced troubleshooting to identify, verify and communicate data errors and customer-related problems.

Serve as an escalation point for support tickets and provide solutions/resolutions.

Proficient in SQL for management of databases

Experience with EHR systems, including implementation and optimization

Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets

Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Health Informatics, or Associate's degree with applicable work experience

Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards related to data management and privacy
