Job Summary:

The Reimbursement Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to reimbursement processes within the Company. This role focuses on optimizing revenue cycle management by assessing claims data, identifying trends, and providing insights to enhance financial performance and compliance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of reimbursement data, including claims submissions, payment trends, and denial reasons, to identify areas for improvement.

2. Reporting: Maintain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to reimbursement processes.

3. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvements aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing claim denials.

4. Data Management: Maintain and update reimbursement databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validation processes.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with billing, pharmacy, hub, and financial teams to ensure accurate documentation and claims submission.

6. Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and recommendations to management, providing actionable insights to enhance reimbursement strategies.

7. Regular and reliable attendance expected.

8. Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Minimum Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Required

o Education: Bachelor s degree in finance, healthcare administration, data analytics, or a related field or related experience required.

o Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, healthcare reimbursement, or revenue cycle management.

o Skills:

o Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

o Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models and regulations.

o Highly motivated, people friendly, team- and detail-oriented.

o Strong organizational skills.

o Extremely detail-oriented.

o High level of professionalism.

o Strong customer service skills.

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

o Excellent computer skills - MAC or PC.

o Strong spreadsheet and database management.
