Job Title: Desktop Field Analyst

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Duration: 6+ months

Job dimensions

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity problems.
  • Provide technical services via email, phone, remote access, and in person.
  • Install and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suites, and specialized industry related software.
  • Load approved image to desktop or laptop equipment and perform diagnostic test of system prior to delivery, ensuring proper installation of operating systems, appropriate hardware, and software, etc.
  • Assist in development, testing and maintenance of standard operating system images.
  • Properly install IT equipment and ensure active connection to network and printers.
  • IOS set ups phones and tables
  • Conduct research by reading technical manuals and conferring with users to investigate and resolve problems.
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory records.
  • Documenting all process and procedures and changes to our IT environments
  • Travel, as required, to other facilities for the purpose of user support, training, or network troubleshooting.
  • Will consistently be moving and installing equipment that may weigh between 30-60 lbs.

Qualifications/Experience required

  • Associates degree in IT related field - minimum
  • Bachelors in related field preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience Microsoft certifications, and CompTIA certifications a plus
  • Demonstrate broad understanding of Microsoft desktop & server operating systems, and the hardware on which those systems run
  • Demonstrate ability to install, configure and troubleshoot user environments - desktop or mobile
  • Experience using a Help/Support Desk application to manage work assignments, inventory control, and timekeeping records
  • Experience working in a team environment where problems solving, and work tasks are developed amongst team members
  • Experience in instructing users on the proper use of hardware or software applications
  • Experience with basic IT infrastructure applications, and network, hosting, and backup devices
  • Experience IOS mobile set up and configuration
  • Experience in Oil & Gas industry a plus
  • ServiceNow, JIRA ticketing a plus
  • O365 experience is a plus
  • Multitasking is a plus
  • Knowledge of point-to-point wireless communication a plus
