Job Title: Security Analyst

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our security team. Whether you're an experienced professional or a junior candidate eager to dive deeper into the world of cybersecurity, we welcome your application. In this role, you will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing our security posture while learning from experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts and incidents using security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
  • Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
  • Help develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Analyze security breaches and contribute to corrective action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to support secure system configurations and software deployments.
  • Stay informed about the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
  • Prepare and contribute to security reports for management.
  • Participate in security training and awareness programs for employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a security analyst role or related field; strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity is essential.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus; willingness to pursue relevant certifications is encouraged.
  • Basic understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
