Finance Systems Analyst

Medical Device company seeking a Financial Systems Analyst for a 3+ mo contract in Irvine, CA!

Duration - 3 Months

Location - Remote, PST hours

Max Pay - $52.46 W2 only, no sponsorship or C2C

Summary:

The main function of a Finance Systems Analyst is to perform the analysis, modification, and daily functional support of Finance applications (JDE preferred).

Job Responsibilities:

* Works with key stakeholders within Finance and Accounting function.

* Gathers requirements from business units and translates to support Accounting on Month-End close.

* Demonstrates an informed knowledge of Accounting function to resolve problems.

* Works on multiple projects as a project team member.

* Serves as a liaison between IT and the Finance and Accounting functions to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or related field required.

• Intermediate level Excel


• Intermediate level SQL


• Intermediate visualization: Power BI/Tableau

* 2-4 years experience required in Financial systems or Accounting support role.

* Basic knowledge of Accounting with Financial systems to understand business processes.

* Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

* Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.

* A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems and Finance/Accounting process level .

* Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information.
