Position: QA Lead

Type: Contract

Location: West Chester, PA Hybrid with 3 days in office

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee QA Processes: Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools using techniques such as White box, Grey Box, Black box, Test-to-Pass, Test-to-Fail, and automation.
• Test Management: Manage and coordinate all testing activities on assigned projects, including defining the testing approach, estimating test effort, and reporting progress and status.
• Continuous Improvement: Define, improve, and implement test processes and tools. Provide continuous review and recommendations for process improvements.
• Team Leadership: Provide oversight and guidance to QA team members, ensuring project milestones are met and QA activities are handled in accordance with project standards.
• Defect Management: Seek out defects, introduce features and changes required to correct defects, and eliminate errors. Track completion of tasks and bugs until resolved.
• Collaboration: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stake holders and other team members involved in a project. Participate in problem-solving sessions with development staff.
• Test Automation, Test Planning and Strategy

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7-10 years of experience within the Quality Assurance specialty.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques.
• Must have SQL skill to write and review queries required for testing.
• Proficiency in Azure services especially data streaming services.
• ETL testing experience is required for this role.
• Familiar with Automation solutioning approach for front end and back-end testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
