3Core Systems is looking for Technical Trainer for one of our clients in Deerfield Beach, FL , Mobile, AL, St Louis, MO

Title: Technical Trainer

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL , Mobile, AL, St Louis, MO (Hybrid 3 Days a week onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

This is a hybrid position in any of our three locations with travel between the three locations.

Right now, travel is a few times a year.

End of 2026 to end of 2027 there will be far more travel, perhaps monthly.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trainer to manage and deliver high-quality training. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating users on how to effectively use new software, understanding changes to existing processes and software, troubleshoot common issues, and maximize productivity through the software s features. This role involves creating training and document strategies, training materials, conducting live and virtual training sessions, and providing ongoing support to ensure associates are proficient in their roles. The Trainer will also assess training effectiveness and adapt, as needed, to meet the needs of the business and learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish Training Needs & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with a major implementation to replace mainframe-based software with a cloud-based solution.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive training programs for the new system.
  • Conduct training needs assessments for process changes and updates to other systems in the ecosystem.

Materials & Materials Management

  • Create instructional materials, including manuals, job aids, video tutorials, and step-by-step guides.
  • Create and manage an annual training calendar, ensuring training sessions are efficiently scheduled while balancing their day-to-day work.
  • Administer, maintain, and organize document and asset libraries in SharePoint.
  • Structure and configure SharePoint libraries for optimal navigation, version control, and file storage.
  • Create and implement metadata, tagging, and indexing systems for better document management and searchability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint libraries, user access, and document retrieval.

Training & Effectiveness Measurement

  • Develop and deliver training programs for process changes and updates to other systems.
  • Conduct live, virtual, and recorded training sessions for users at varying skill levels.
  • Tailor training content to different audiences with difference backgrounds (i.e. business teams and technical support teams)
  • Provide one-on-one coaching or small group sessions to users with unique needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during training sessions.
  • Offer ongoing guidance, support, and re courses for users post-training.
  • Evaluate the training program through feedback, assessments, and performance improvements to measure their effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on the usage, performance, and capacity of SharePoint libraries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a software trainer for a major system implementation or similar role.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, clear terms.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and different training delivery methods (in-person, virtual, e-learning).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with instructional design, e-learning platforms, and learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with both in-person and virtual training delivery methods.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and training sessions concurrently.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar certification.
  • Train the Trainer (TTT) certification.
  • Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+)
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
