Active Directory/ LDAP Administrator (L3)

Location: Corvallis, OR (3 days onsite and 2 days WFH)Long Term Project

Technical Skills:

  • Act as a member of the Windows Active Directory Domain Administrator Support Team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations
  • Troubleshoot DNS Service and DNS resolution issues
  • Assist in management and support of internal and external DNS systems
  • Troubleshoot Active Directory authentication and LDAP configuration issues and strong experience with SCCM.
  • Configure and support MSMQ services
  • Develop/edit/test/deploy/manage Group Policy Objects (GPO)
  • Manage Group Policy Administrative Templates (ADMX files)
  • Manage GPO Security Filtering and WMI Filters
  • Strong PowerShell scripting experience
  • Delegate elevated permissions for defined tasks without compromising security.
  • Work with other senior staff members to resolve escalated, complex incidents
  • Continually seek opportunities to improve our existing AD and Exchange architecture
  • Research acute technical problems such as inconsistent email retention, cluster communication failures, and public folder replication issues
  • Work cross functional with other teams to drive initiatives
  • Developing comprehensive test cases to include testing scenarios for both normal and degraded (e.g., disaster recovery, continuity of operations, data recovery/spills, ) operations, pass/fail criteria, performance criteria, capacity planning, measurement criteria, results analysis procedures, and results/status reporting criteria
  • Deliverables focused on Cybersecurity remediation:
  • Review Cyber security vulnerability scan report.
  • Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and potential impact.
  • Develop and implement remediation plans.
  • Identify system owners and notify them with possible vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with system owners and teams to ensure vulnerability remediations.
  • Review and update vulnerability metrics.
  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders, including manager regarding the status of vulnerability
  • remediation efforts.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting on the progress of vulnerability remediation.
  • Implement approved continuous improvement measures to enhance the effectiveness of vulnerability remediation efforts.

Licensing or Certifications:
