The Sanofi Patient Support Services (PSS) team is focused on supporting patients wishing to access Sanofi therapies. This is achieved by offering programs that provide reimbursement and logistics support, financial assistance, and patient education. In addition to the program offerings, the PSS organization is also home to field teams that provide education and support to patients and customers.

  • The Director of Patient Support Services will be responsible for driving operational oversight and execution of the PSS vendor contract performance including quality monitoring, pharmacovigilance requirements, service levels and conducting quarterly business reviews.
  • Create new materials and program websites for field-based employees and HCP office staff, identify access challenges and develop programs to optimize service offerings and drive patient pull-through
  • Developing and executing communication plans—ensuring clear communication between Sanofi and our Alliance partner, Sales, and Field Reimbursement teams.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to optimize appropriate education of the service programs including program specific resources and in-service materials for both sales and the field reimbursement teams.
  • Provide training oversight of Patient Access Specialists, Reimbursement Specialists, and Nurses, with a specific focus on training vendor partner staff from onboarding through ongoing development.
  • Monitoring and measuring customer feedback, internal performance data, and market needs to identify and implement service enhancements
  • Collaborates with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance partners to ensure compliant development and execution of Patient Support Services initiatives
  • Support scalable development of launch capabilities, technology, and business process

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient support services, healthcare program management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing lab programs and vendor relationships in a healthcare setting.
  • Deep understanding of lab integrations, REMS programs, and safety measures.
  • Strong background in audit readiness, governance, and compliance.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to REMS and patient support services.

  • Strong verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, collaborate and deliver solutions in a highly complex, matrixed environment.
  • Conflict resolution skills and ability to work collaboratively, along with strong organizational and operational skills.
  • Data and insights driven decision-maker; able to distill large amounts of data and information to find the lead story and communicate it effectively to others.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to deliver results within timelines.
  • Strong sense of urgency, personal commitment, and ownership over work
  • Identify opportunities to enhance team effectiveness, increase process efficiencies, and to respond effectively to the needs of the business is required.
