Position Title: Senior Director of Planning & Supply Chain

Job Type: Full Time

Shift: Monday—Friday, 8:30am—5:00pm

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Purpose

Lead the transformation and execution of the company’s end-to-end supply chain strategy, with a focus on driving efficiency, optimizing costs, and enhancing overall performance. You will take charge of procurement, master scheduling, inventory control, and warehouse management while ensuring our supply chain delivers excellence to support strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement forward-thinking purchasing, planning, and supply chain strategies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and align with the organization’s mission.
  • Manage and monitor the supply chain budget, ensuring financial alignment with broader company goals.
  • Define and standardize supply chain policies and practices, ensuring smooth operations across all functions.
  • Lead demand forecasting and production planning, making data-driven decisions that guide raw material ordering, inventory control, and product distribution.
  • Own the procurement process, negotiating pricing, and managing vendor relationships to secure the best deals and optimize partnerships.
  • Enhance visibility across the supply chain by collaborating with sourcing managers and suppliers to integrate cutting-edge technology and reporting systems.
  • Oversee inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and improve cash flow while ensuring we’re always ready to meet demand.
  • Streamline logistics and distribution to cut lead times and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Drive operational forecasting, resource allocation, and demand planning in collaboration with production, finance, and sales teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement projects, pushing operational boundaries to improve accuracy, efficiency, and output.
  • Lead a talented team, providing mentorship, setting clear objectives, and managing performance to foster leadership development.
  • Build lasting relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring strong collaborations that fuel business growth.
  • Stay on top of industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with key FDA, ISO, and other relevant guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, planning, or related fields
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%
