PRISM seeks an SCCM/MECM Systems Administrator with an Active DoD Secret Clearance to design, implement, and maintain the organization's System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure. This role will involve managing software deployments, updates, and patches and ensuring the security and compliance of endpoints.

Responsibilities

  • SCCM/MECM Administration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain SCCM/MECM infrastructure components, including servers, databases, and distribution points.
    • Manage software deployments, updates, and patches using SCCM/MECM.
    • Create and manage software packages, applications, and deployment types.
    • Configure and monitor client settings, policies, and compliance rules.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve SCCM/MECM-related issues.
  • Endpoint Management:
    • Implement and manage endpoint security solutions, such as antivirus, antimalware, and intrusion prevention.
    • Manage mobile device management (MDM) using SCCM/MECM.
    • Configure and monitor endpoint hardware and software inventory.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of endpoint management best practices.
  • Scripting and Automation:
    • Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
    • Develop custom reports and dashboards to monitor SCCM/MECM performance and compliance.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
    • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to SCCM/MECM and endpoint management.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to identify and address root causes of problems.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS).
    • Implement and maintain security controls to protect endpoints from threats.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

Education and Experience:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience, Master's degree, or high school diploma with six years of relevant experience.
  • Required: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Proficiency: Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows Servers and Workstations.
  • Software Deployment: Proven track record of successful software installation and deployment.

Certifications:

  • Required: 8570 Compliant IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+ CE or similar)
