Prominent law firm is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in recruiting, employee relations and event coordination.

Salary: $90-100K base

Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Posting job descriptions, screening resumes and conducting phone screens
  • Assist with employee onboarding and new hire orientation process
  • Conduct new-hire check ins and ensure new employees are acclimating well
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement events
  • Involvement with employee relations, retention, trainings and offboarding
  • Lead the development and compliance training provided to staff
  • Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently
  • Foster a positive experience at the office by providing high touch support to employees in the workplace

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of five years of human resources experience required
  • Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred
  • Proven expertise in employee relations and talent acquisition
  • Intellectual curiosity, good communication skills, critical thinking, and good judgement
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a internal and external clients, attorneys and staff
  • Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion
