Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our growing team! As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing our data infrastructure to ensure the accuracy, security, and accessibility of healthcare data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and operations, to support the organization’s data-driven decision-making processes and enhance patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architectures: Develop and optimize data models, data flow designs, and storage solutions that support clinical operations, reporting, and analytics.
  • Data governance: Establish data quality standards, security protocols, and data management best practices.
  • ETL processes: Create and maintain robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources into the centralized data warehouse.
  • Collaboration: Partner with clinical, operational, and IT teams to understand data requirements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve existing databases and data architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, data flows, and security protocols to ensure clarity and accessibility for internal teams.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture, recommending appropriate tools and platforms for implementation.

Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science);
  • PREFERRED: Certification in Healthcare IT or Data Management a plus.
  • ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data manager or architect role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
  • Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and database design.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
