Are you customer obsessed, driving efficiencies while reducing risk in an operations environment? The Source to Pay Solutions team is looking for a Procurement Operations

Manager to lead the strategy of our SupplierWeb portal and Procurement Support platform leveraging Source to Pay processes and system changes to reduce risk, reduce cost and enhance user experiences. This role is scoped to provide specialization in AI transformation and internal/external portal experiences. This is a collaborative role where you will need to confidently work across the Microsoft Procurement organization at all levels to manage key initiatives and strategic projects.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 2+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.


Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $75,100 - $148,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $98,800 - $163,300 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution, successful delivery and oversight of SupplierWeb and Procurement support capability, continually documenting, monitoring and identifying ongoing opportunities for efficiencies in partnership with supply chain and engineering teams while having a security first mindset with a proactive emphasis to look for opportunities to ensure security in everything we do.
  • Manage complex tool requirements, understanding downstream implications to ensure effective, efficient and compliant workflows/processes for both internal and 3 rd party tools
  • Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders and become a trusted partner to help achieve business goals and resolve/escalate issues through resolution
  • Create and manage project plans for releases, ensuring that key stakeholders provide sign-off on changes and operational teams are ready
  • Partner with various stakeholders and project leads on project plan and project schedule to ensure that project deadlines are met, assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and user guides for operational teams
  • In-depth understanding and experience running and managing technical development releases , with analytical skills , attention to detail and ability to identify systems strengths and weaknesses, passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Translate business needs into clear and concise business requirements and/or functional specifications
  • Coordinate activities for user acceptance testing and system test execution
  • Perform ad hoc activities to support the project and operational needs
