Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry and Innovation Yarn standards.
  • Develop and/or confirm proper product specifications
  • Develop and/or confirm accurate Work Instructions and/or Standard Operating Procedures to ensure production and quality inspection processes result in a properly produced product which adheres to all defined product specifications
  • Perform quality inspections on products to ensure conformance to defined specifications.
  • Conduct quality audits on both products and processes to confirm compliance, identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and improve overall productivity.
  • To maintain zero tolerance for customer quality complaints.
  • Set product quality requirements for all types of raw materials for suppliers, monitor & review their compliance to maintain the quality standard.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers about quality issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Quality Management or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of QMS principles, ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferably yarn manufacturing.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all customers.
  • Experience working with manufacturing MRP/ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced PC application skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.)
  • Effective communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university or a minimum of seven (7) years of quality management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
