Job Title: Revenue Leakage Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL (downtown) - Hybrid (In-office Wednesday/Thursday)
Duration: 3 Months (High likelihood of extension)
Pay Rate: $21/hr

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Revenue Leakage Analyst to support our regulated waste and compliance services business. This role is essential in identifying, verifying, and capturing revenue leakage, ensuring that no revenue is lost due to operational or contractual inefficiencies. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work cross-functionally to drive revenue recovery initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across departments to identify and resolve sources of revenue leakage.
• Execute both new and existing revenue realization initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement based on business needs.
• Investigate root causes of revenue leakage and develop strategies to mitigate future occurrences.
• Research areas where revenue loss is suspected and work with teams to quantify the impact.
• Verify legal entitlement to lost revenue by reviewing customer contracts and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports, metrics, and KPIs for communication with commercial leadership.
• Work cross-functionally to capture lost revenue and ensure full entitlement realization.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with experience in researching and resolving revenue discrepancies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report generation, and KPI tracking.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate findings effectively to leadership.
• Experience in reviewing contracts and understanding legal revenue entitlements is a plus.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
