Operational Risk Manager

Our client, a well-known investment bank in New York, NY, is looking to add an Operational Risk and Control Consultant to their team. Responsibilities of this position include reviewing and revising existing operational risk framework testing designs, executing ongoing risk controls testing, and delivering controls testing reviews to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will come with at least five years of Operational Risk & Controls testing experience, previous Second Line of Defense experience, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Testing the design and effectiveness of Operational Risk Controls and Framework
• Documenting controls testing results and preparing reports for senior stakeholders
• Assisting in developing corrective actions where needed

Requirements:

• At least five years of previous Second Line of Defense controls testing for a large corporate bank
• Advanced understanding of Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes and procedures
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
