  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Performance Tester to join our QA team. The Performance Tester will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing performance tests to ensure that our applications meet high performance standards. You will work closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders to identify and address performance bottlenecks and ensure our applications function well under varying loads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, design, and execute performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and software applications.
  • Identify performance test objectives based on requirements and non-functional specifications.
  • Simulate varying load levels and monitor application performance under stress conditions.
  • Use performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools to perform load, stress, and endurance tests.
  • Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, server latency, and scalability issues.
  • Provide detailed performance reports and recommendations for performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and testing teams to resolve performance-related issues.
  • Monitor and assess application performance during production to anticipate and address potential performance problems.
  • Automate performance tests and integrate them into continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in performance testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Performance Tester or in a similar QA role.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, Gatling, or Neoload.
  • Strong understanding of web protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), APIs, and microservices.
  • Proficiency in analyzing performance test results and identifying bottlenecks.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with databases to simulate real-world scenarios.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics) to assess application health during testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based performance testing.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and previous experience working in an Agile environment.
Key Competencies:
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to manage multiple tasks.
