  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Proof Reader / Editor

Type: Part Time Role ; 8 am - 12 pm / 5 days a week

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: Fully Remote - CST/EST Hours

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in journalism, English, or related field.
  • Proven experience in copywriting, editing, or content creation.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and design software, and project management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

As a Proofreader | Editor, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with stakeholders to proof all necessary copy for consistency and accuracy. You will proofread, fact check, and edit to ensure that all copy is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the brand's voice and messaging pre and postproduction.
