Job Title: Desktop Support Technician (Contract to Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician with expertise in SCCM and deploying imaging solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to users of PCs and end-user technologies, delivering high-quality "white glove" service both through the company's ticketing system and in-person support. This contract-to-hire position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for peripheral devices, including hardware replacement.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and perform employee onboarding, including imaging laptops and deploying hardware.
  • Utilize enterprise imaging, software deployment tools, and data migration for end-user computing.
  • Support printer break/fix services and company-owned mobile devices.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and emergency support phone queue.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to monitor desktop systems and infrastructure performance metrics

Qualifications:

  • BSc in IS, CS, or equivalent experience (certifications like A+ or MCP are a plus).
  • Minimum of 5 years in desktop support and end-user support roles.
  • Strong experience with SCCM and Windows 10/11 Pro, LAN-based imaging, VPN connectivity, and Apple iOS support.
