Position Summary

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy Digital Marketing/Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition through digital marketing initiatives and social media platforms. This individual will be reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and will have a strong understanding of digital trends, exceptional storytelling skills, and experience managing social media and online marketing campaigns in the electric vehicle, automotive, or tech space.

Job Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute SHMA’s social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), focusing on building brand presence, engagement, and community growth.
  • Content Creation: Design, create, and curate engaging content that reflects the SHMA and AFEELA brand voice. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for content such as videos, graphics, and blog posts.
  • Digital Campaigns: Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns, including social media ads, search engine marketing (SEM), display ads, and influencer partnerships to drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of digital campaigns and social media activity using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar. Provide insights and make recommendations for improvement based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • SEO & SEM Strategy: Optimize content and campaigns for search engines (SEO) and manage paid search strategies (SEM) to ensure that SHMA’s online presence ranks competitively.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure consistency in the brand’s digital presence and maintain SHMA’s voice and messaging across all digital platforms and marketing campaigns.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media updates, and emerging digital technologies. Identify opportunities to leverage new tools and platforms to expand SHMA’s online footprint.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with cross-functional teams (including product, sales, and customer service) to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives and launch initiatives for product launches, events, and promotional campaigns.

Qualifications for Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation, preferably in the electric vehicle, automotive, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling content and manage multi-platform social media strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (Sprinklr, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for new digital marketing trends and emerging social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience in collaborating with influencers and digital media agencies is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for electric vehicles, technology, and sustainability is highly preferred.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
