We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join our client's leadership team, overseeing the procurement process and ensuring product quality. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in creating strategies, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining high-quality standards in all floral products sourced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an annual procurement strategy to align with the company’s goals, ensuring a steady supply of fresh, high-quality floral products at competitive prices.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with growers, suppliers, and logistic partners to secure favorable terms and ensure long-term growth.
  • Oversee all procurement operations, including logistics with airlines and freight forwarders, to ensure efficient processes and timely delivery of fresh products.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations to maintain product quality and brand integrity, and negotiate favorable agreements to close deals.
  • Spearhead quality assurance initiatives to uphold and enforce quality specifications across all floral products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure product offerings meet market demand and customer expectations.
  • Track product quality, coordinate with farms, and ensure compliance with packaging specifications throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in supply chain management, procurement, and quality assurance, preferably in the floral, agriculture, or perishable goods industries.
  • Strong strategic planning and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
