Sr. Mainframe Developer - 100% Remote

This position is 100% remote anywhere in the U.S.

PRISM seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical mainframe applications that support our core business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand complex business requirements to develop robust and scalable mainframe solutions.
• Design, code, test, and implement mainframe applications using COBOL DB2 IBM MF systems and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mainframe systems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
• Stay updated on the latest mainframe technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in mainframe development. COBOL DB2 IBM MF systems
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and other mainframe programming languages.
• In-depth knowledge of mainframe architecture, operating systems (z/OS), and middleware.
• Experience with mainframe performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
