This part-time Office & Culture Assistant will report directly to our People & Culture Manager and work out of our Cerritos, CA office location. You will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming environment for both guests and employees at the office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and presentable office space, including stocking the kitchen with coffee, snacks, and drinks.
- Assembling furniture and office equipment with occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 pounds)
- General maintenance including watering plants, refilling containers, and turning off appliances and office equipment.
- Managing office supplies by ordering, restocking, and maintaining inventory.
- Preparing for and welcoming guests, and supporting special events at the office.
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages, with occasional offsite tasks, including at our warehouse and secondary office.
- Assisting with setting up conference rooms and ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for use.
- Working Hours: This is a part-time position with a schedule of Tuesday and Thursday in office and flexible hours outside of these days.
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience maintaining and managing an office setting or similar environment
- Ability to think quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Proficiency in basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for running errands
- High level of reliability and discretion, particularly when handling personal tasks for the COO and CEO
