Responsibilities:

8-10+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis is preferred

  • The technical Data Analyst lead provides technical design expertise and will play a pivotal role in addressing identified issues within the clients data management system in the Commonwealth Workforce Development System CWDS.
  • Create standard and ad hoc reports based on the clients reporting needs.
  • Design report templates and generate reports as required.
  • Aggregate and analyze the data as per the requirements.
  • Investigate and address flaws in the current CWDS tracker system.
  • Technical undergraduate degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • Advanced SQL skills to get the data you need from a data warehouse and perform data segmentation and aggregation from scratch.
  • Data query and data processing tools/systems (e.g., relational, NoSQL, stream processing)
  • Familiarity with AWS (Redshift, Athena, and AWS core concepts)
  • Familiarity with Data modeling
  • Familiarity with analytical and data modeling tools, such as Python, R, or PyCharm
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools.
  • Strong experience with data modeling and data warehouse.
  • A proven track record in consulting, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
