SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING ASSISTANT

Compensation: $20/hr

Job Type: 1-2 days per week in office

Reports To: Firm Partner & Marketing Creative Director

Chaves Perlowitz Luftig LLP is looking for 1-2 professionals to join our marketing department to support our Creative Marketing Director and attorneys. We are a forward-thinking law firm that has over 25 years of experience in the NYC real estate world and are seeking motivated candidates. We are a team that believes in growth, excellent client service and professional development for all team members. The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and technological skills. These positions provide support to the partners and attorneys within its respective department.

ENGAGEMENT & DESIRED SKILLS:Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate with others throughout all levels of organizations, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate is positive, reliable with a strong attention to detail, and able to adapt to new technology and industry-specific programs quickly. Social media management will be a key component of this role.

  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and social media platforms.
  • Experience managing social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and analytics, is highly desired.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Readily and easily adapts to changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to problem solve, identify problems, and work to resolve them in a timely manner. The candidate will be asked to research and obtain information to complete various forms, tasks, and processes.
  • Completing additional job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience is not necessary – we are seeking candidates that are willing to learn new skills, ask questions, and be a member of our team.

  • Prior experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants among others.
  • Knowledge of designing, editing, printing, and formatting of documents, letters, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with social media tools and strategies, with a focus on professional platforms like LinkedIn and Instagram.
