Overview

Business Development Representatives (BDRs) at Xurrent, Inc. ("Xurrent") are the front line of our go-to-market strategy, playing a critical role in growing our footprint within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Sales - US, this BDR role focuses specifically on prospecting MSPs, requiring deep alignment with account executives, channel sales representatives, marketing, and our partner network. Responsibilities include a blend of inbound lead qualification and outbound outreach, using intelligent and consultative engagement strategies via email, phone, social media, and events. This role demands mastery of Xurrent's messaging and a strong understanding of the MSP industry, as well as the ability to generate high-quality opportunities and consistently meet or exceed quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales development targets for MSP accounts.
  • Collaborate with account executives and channel sales representatives to execute MSP-specific territory plans.
  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of MSP customer challenges, pain points, and buying behaviors.
  • Become an expert in researching MSP accounts, gathering intelligence, and identifying decision-makers.
  • Proactively search for new business opportunities within the MSP segment, with a creative approach to engagement.
  • Build consultative relationships with MSP prospects, ensuring value-driven conversations that align with their service offerings.
  • Maintain detailed MSP account intelligence, contact summaries, and activity records in Salesforce.
  • Identify and refine best practices for engaging MSPs and improving lead generation playbooks.
  • Represent Xurrent at MSP-related events, such as shows and conferences, driving traffic to our booth and round tables.
  • Approach every day with a positive attitude and eagerness to grow professionally, particularly within the MSP ecosystem.
