As a HR Business Partner, you will partner across Microsoft Human Resources and the business to enhance organizational effectiveness by aligning people and organizational priorities with the business vision and strategy. Through talent management, leadership development, and fostering diversity and inclusion, you’ll support business goals and drive organizational success. You will work closely with the Microsoft Threat Protection Research organization, and partner across the Cloud Ecosystem Security organization and Microsoft Threat Protection organization. This opportunity will allow you to develop deep business acumen of the security landscape and how we leverage generative AI (GAI) to transform security solutions and hone your strategic HR skills.

Responsibilities

  • You will implement new or changing structures or business-specific programs/processes for an assigned organization. You’ll also evaluate internal business drivers and environmental factors to encourage employees to adopt new changes.
  • You will manage the implementation of the holistic people plan for an assigned organization. This will involve providing insights and recommendations, and sharing development ideas with leadership.
  • You will help implement and manage the strategic talent management plan for an assigned organization, and use data to help implement talent movement and development plans. You’ll also implement the diversity and inclusion plan for an assigned organization.
  • You will support leadership effectiveness and performance by assessing data, coaching them through organizational change, and recommending inclusive leadership practices. You’ll also guide leadership on clarifying business strategies and improving effectiveness.
  • You will interpret key people data (e.g., attrition, movement, polls, compensation patterns), to help identify talent needs, and risks, in the context of the business and provide recommendations about organizational strategies, goals, and actions.
  • Manages the execution of the design of talent, structure, culture and/or processes for an assigned organization. Provides feedback and insights to organizational design. Implements and adapts to new or changing structures (leadership or organizational), cultural change, or business-specific programs/processes (e.g., training, talent movement) for an assigned organization.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 6+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management)
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 4+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management)
    • OR equivalent experience.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 8+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management)
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 6+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management)
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM, CIPD).
  • 3+ years experience with partnering with wide network of clients and across human resources to deliver effective business solutions.
HR Business Partnership IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
