  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our client, a leading apparel brand, is seeking an Assistant Designer - Menswear to join their growing team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Associate Designer in generating ideas and concepts for seasonal lines.
  • Produce flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Develop print and pattern design packages and CADs with Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Draft detailed tech packs for international vendors.
  • Conduct research, maintain development records, and assess lab dip samples.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure submissions meet design schedule deadlines.
  • Communicate regularly with factories both locally and abroad.
  • Complete necessary data entry to support the development process.
  • Organize daily files and maintain overall order in the design workflow.
  • Collaborate with key suppliers and build relationships with manufacturers

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Skilled in creating digital sketches and prints using design software.
  • Familiar with the product development process and experienced in coordinating with vendors.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 1-2 years of experience in men’s fashion design.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time efficiently.
  • Highly driven, positive, and able to work with urgency while maintaining quality.

$60k-65k depending on experience

Full Time in office
