Job Description:
Beckwith Mercer LLC is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust business analysis and strategy background with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in strategic planning, performance measurement, and business process improvement. This position requires expertise in analyzing business procedures, providing insights for efficiency improvements, and aligning business strategies with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Analysis and Planning:
    • Lead the development and implementation of strategic business plans, including systems alignment and productivity improvement initiatives
    • Analyze complex business processes to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and long-term planning.

  • Data-Driven Insights and Reporting:
    • Develop, manage, and present reports, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and impact
    • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, forecast future performance, and provide actionable insights to guide organizational strategy.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.

  • Process Improvement and Optimization:
    • Design and implement process improvement initiatives that optimize business operations and enhance organizational productivity.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine business processes and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    • Serve as a key liaison between business units and senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment and stakeholder engagement.
    • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and briefings to gather business requirements and communicate project updates effectively.

  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all business processes and initiatives comply with relevant policies, regulations, and standards, particularly in a government contracting environment.
    • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks associated with business operations.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.

  • Experience:
    • At least 10 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, or a related field.
    • Proven strategic and business planning expertise, performance measures, process improvement, and productivity enhancement.

  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Advanced proficiency and the ability to translate complex data sets and organizational performance results into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience drafting comprehensive reports and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.
Preferred Skills:
  • Prior experience in the energy sector, cybersecurity, or critical infrastructure protection.
  • Familiarity with government contracting and related compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of advanced data analysis tools and methodologies.
