About The Job

The assistant facilities manager will conduct daily rounds and to ensure there are no mechanical and safety concerns. They will assist in space planning, vendor relationships and contract management. Monitor equipment and expenses, control budget for maintenance, manage work orders and service requests. Last, but not least, this person will provide general Maintenance (HVAC filters, lighting, drywall, painting, minor plumbing, furniture repair, and office moves)

Skill/Experience

3-5 years of experience as a facilities and/or project manager

Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facility activity

Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook

Knowledge of OSHA and Medicare compliance for treatment clinics and corporate offices a +

Good organizational, diagnostic, and analytical skills

Ability to provide timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers

A self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative

Attention to detail and sense of urgency in completing job tasks

Ability to supervise others and manage projects of various sizes

Able to receive and follow instructions and direction efficiently

Good written and verbal communication skills

Duties

Fulfill customer service request promptly as assigned through work ticket system

Supervise team of assistant managers and independent contractors – by region

Performs project management of renovations of existing sites and construction of new sites

Assist with space planning design and layout for clinics

Oversee general maintenance (HVAC, Filters, Lighting, Drywall, Painting, Plumbing minor repairs, Furniture repair and install, Moves)

Coordinate inspection visits to 18 + clinics within a 250-mile (driver’s license required)

Perform personal property assessment 2x year on all locations

Manage all day to day contracts – including but not limited to (Janitorial services and supplies, landscape, pest control, trash, security and other)

Manage all vendor relationships and contract management

Ensure environmental, health and safety guidelines are followed

Create and maintain a program for independent facility mgmt. services

Manage onsite and offsite storage at all locations
