Divisional Vice President, Enterprise Transformation

Job Summary

The DVP of the Value Stream Management Office is responsible for leading and managing the organization’s comprehensive portfolio of transformation initiatives organized into what are called value streams. This role will be responsible for overseeing a multi-disciplinary team of direct and matrixed resources facilitating strategic alignment, prioritization and portfolio management, performance tracking and change management to ensure successful execution of transformation projects and alignment with the company’s vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment:
  • Ensure transformation initiatives remain aligned with the company’s vision and long-term goals and maintain execution governance
  • Integrate cross-functional workflows to optimize operations and increase efficiency
  • Prioritization and Portfolio Management
  • Oversee centralized intake and enterprise-wide prioritization process
  • Responsible for resource allocation and management, including facilitation of trade-off decisions
  • Surface and manage interdependencies
  • Risk Management
  • Use foresight to identify potential risks / issues and develop mitigation / resolution plans
  • Collaborate with senior and executive leadership on escalation and resolution
  • Ensure mitigation and resolution plans are effectively executed
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Report on status, budget / actuals and performance metrics / KPIs measuring the success of the transformation portfolio
  • Gather data and insights to inform decision-making processes
  • Leading Change:
  • Guide integrated change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption across organization
  • Ensure coordinated communications, training and education
  • Enterprise Architecture
  • Support aligned enterprise architecture
  • Methods and Standards Development
  • Define and maintain standards for strategic execution / enterprise transformation
  • Implement and oversee quality assurance processes
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Accountable for managing executive and senior level stakeholders to drive alignment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups across multi-disciplinary value stream teams
  • Communicate transformation goals, progress, and outcomes to executive and senior leadership and other stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in business, management or a related field - Preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field
  • Experience:
    • 12+ years’ experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives and driving organizational change
    • Experience working in an outcomes-aligned structure - Preferred
    • Experience leading a team of directs, including assigned matrixed team members
  • Skills:
    • Ability to solve complex business problems
    • Comfortable and experience managing matrixed teams
    • Strong executive presence, ability to develop executive level presentations and facilitate executive meetings and workshops
    • Able to influence without authority and can effectively manage diverse stakeholder groups
    • Proven experience facilitating alignment across an organization
    • Able to structure work
    • Comfortable with ambiguity
    • Advanced organizational skills, highly organized

The salary range for this role is $157,700 to $416,300. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
