Vista Equity Partners is seeking a Business Analyst Intern for Summer 2025. In this 10-week paid
internship, you will work across teams to explore efforts to document and prioritize business needs, as well

Responsibilities
- Consult with stakeholders to understand key needs and translate them into actionable business and
- Gather and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets).
- Prepare and clean data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with technical and functional leaders of departments and document success criteria and
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI and Excel.
- Work with teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support.
- Create, improve, and standardize requirement gathering practices, tools, and metrics.
- Track KPIs and key metrics to monitor business trends.
- Develop ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and processes for consistency.
- Stay updated on trends and emerging technologies.
- Expected Graduation: Spring 2026 in Finance or Technology-related fields.
- Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, able to present data insights clearly.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or Scala is a plus.
- Knowledge of MS Office preferred.
