Kellogg Community Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Technology Support Specialist role!

The Technology Support Specialist role is a critical position for the organization. The Technology Support Specialist position is a crucial role that assists the organization in achieving sales, service, and operational goals by maintaining and enhancing our information technology systems. This role will collaborate with team members, and vendors, to install, maintain and upgrade essential hardware and software systems while providing support to the Credit Union team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to team members by troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, printers, terminals, and other IT hardware.
  • Installs, maintains, and upgrades end-user hardware and software, ensuring systems remain secure and functional.
  • Works with the IT team, and external vendors, to resolve technical issues and ensure quality service.
  • Designs and maintains systems documentation and processes, ensuring compliance with security regulations and Credit Union standards.
  • Researches new technologies, evaluates hardware and software upgrades, and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensures administrative control over the Credit Union's IT assets, including software licenses, hardware, and related supplies.
  • Assists with special projects.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • One to three years similar or related experience
  • Two year college degree, or related certifications
  • Strong computer skills including the Microsoft suite and other common software applications
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent time management skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral across multiple levels of the organization
  • Ability to interact with others on a regular basis and build relationships

Ideal Candidates must have strong availability Monday -Friday until 6:00PM, and 1:00PM on Saturday. Opening is in Battle Creek Michigan.
