Essential Job Duties

In this role, you'll manage a team to design and implement a range of customer engagement initiatives, including customer events, building a thriving customer community, and driving customer advocacy. You bring a customer-first mindset, blending analytical skills with creativity, strong organizational abilities, and a knack for collaboration and communication.

As a leader on our team you will be responsible for:

  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Performance Management: Set clear performance goals, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews to ensure team members meet their objectives and grow in their roles.
  • Workload Management and Prioritization: Oversee and assign tasks and projects, ensuring the team's workload is balanced, deadlines are met, and resources are allocated effectively to achieve marketing goals.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that the team's efforts align with overall company objectives and marketing strategies, providing direction and adjusting priorities as needed.

Reporting and Communication: Regularly report on team progress, challenges, and successes to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with broader marketing initiatives.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Partnering with our internal events team to oversee customer-involvement and customer invitations for various events. Additionally you'll collaborate with internal teams to identify priority accounts and develop unique ways to engage our customers.
  • As a key strategic initiative, you will oversee the development and growth of our customer community, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging active participation.
  • Identify and nurture customer advocates, facilitating testimonials, case studies, and speaking opportunities that showcase the value of our products.
  • Manage customer participation requests and partner with internal teams to strategically include customers in product initiatives and other programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to infuse our customer voice into content that educates, engages, and retains our customers, including newsletters, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Analyze customer engagement metrics to measure the success of marketing initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
