Position Title:System Engineer

Position Location:Government site in Annapolis Junction, MD

Description:

  • In this position, you will join an existing team providing system engineering support to Security Sustainment applications. The applications supported are front-end technologies, i.e., JavaScript (AngularJS, Vue.js, Node.js). The role requires a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in a team environment. This position will require working in a fast-paced team and a willingness to take on challenges to upgrade or modify sustainment systems. This individual must be willing to tackle challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.
  • Primary responsibilities will beworking with the LeadSystems Engineer,Government leadership and the development team toestablishpriorities, conduct requirements analysis, formalize process design and implementation,contribute tosystem engineering documentation,providingend-user customersupport, and with a focus on testing support.
  • Collaboratewith the team for releases or migrations to new environments.
  • Collaborate with security for any compliancy issues and remediate any activeliens.
  • Troubleshoot andmaintainintegrity to improve reliability and performance of system.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degreein a technical disciplineandseven(7) years' experience as an SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity isrequired.Twelve(12) yearsSE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree
  • Willingness tolearn and develop strong understandingnew technologiesand products
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentationincludingsystem architecture diagrams.
  • Experienceworking with end-user customers

Desired Experience:

  • Experienceexecuting test procedures
  • Experience withAtlassian Suite products includingConfluence& ManagingJira
  • Experience as a Scrum Master
  • Experience with 508 Compliance
  • Experience withprocessdesign andimplementation

Required Clearance:

  • Active TSSCI clearance with Full Scope poly

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $120k - $160k

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
