- Install, configure, and maintain IBM software products, including but not limited to IBM Db2, IBM WebSphere, and IBM Maximo.
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of IBM systems.
- Implement and manage security protocols and measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access or breaches.
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for IBM environments, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, resolving issues related to IBM applications and systems.
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to identify system requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Plan and execute software updates and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Respond to and manage incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication with affected stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in IBM system administration or a related role.
- Proficient in IBM software products, with experience in system configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of database management, application servers, and enterprise software solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
