Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with cloud-agnostic expertise and a strong background in investment banking, particularly in trading systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-native solutions for financial applications, leveraging their Python skills to optimize performance, ensure data security, and enhance system integration across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain cloud-agnostic solutions utilizing Python for trading platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable microservices for real-time financial transactions.
  • Integrate and optimize various API services for trading systems, ensuring seamless data flow and low latency.
  • Implement cloud-native strategies for multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) to ensure flexibility and resilience.
  • Automate deployment pipelines and develop CI/CD workflows to support continuous delivery.
  • Work closely with trading desks and business analysts to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.
  • Ensure robust security protocols and compliance with financial industry standards.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing cloud services to support large-scale trading operations.
  • Develop technical documentation and provide ongoing support for implemented solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Python development, with hands-on experience in financial services, particularly investment banking or trading domains.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with the ability to work across multiple cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of API development and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance related to trading operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with multi-cloud strategies and trading system integration.
  • Previous experience in working with low-latency systems in the financial sector.
