Summary:
CEIs utility client is adding a highly skilled and motivated Power BI Data Accessibility Business Analyst to their team based out of Pittsburgh. This role will work closely with the Data Operations team to ensure the accessibility and proper usage of data across the organization. The ideal candidate will gather business requirements, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and provide oversight for data-related projects decommissioning old systems. Historical data from the decommissioned systems will be moved to a data mart that users can access with Power BI. You will gather the requirements from the users for that Power BI access.

- Hybrid, Downtown Pittsburgh, PA (2-3 days per week in office)

- Gather and document data accessibility requirements from stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business and development teams to ensure successful data integration and reporting.
- Create detailed process flows, sequence diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
- Act as a liaison between the Data Operations team and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals.
- Prioritize and manage project requirements throughout the delivery process.
- Provide insights and oversight on data reporting and analytics projects, ensuring compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with the team to ensure Power BI reports meet business needs and provide actionable insights.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on data and reporting.
- Proven ability to gather and prioritize business requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to align business needs with data capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Power BI and data analytics tools.
- Experience with accounting, HR, and payroll systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Experience with Lawson software is a plus.
- Business analysis certification (CBAP) is a plus.
