Job Summary:


  • The Technical Business Systems Analyst (SAP) will work closely with business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to analyze, define, and implement business processes in SAP systems.
  • This role is essential for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on system design, configuration, and process improvement in SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with business users to gather and document detailed business requirements for SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD, PP).
  • Solution Design & Configuration: Collaborate with SAP functional consultants and developers to design SAP system solutions that meet business requirements. Configure SAP modules and assist in the design of custom enhancements.
  • System Integration: Assist in integrating SAP modules with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP and non-SAP applications.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Collaborate on data analysis, report generation, and ensure proper data management within SAP.
  • Testing & Validation: Develop test scripts and perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better use of SAP functionality or enhancements.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, system configurations, and user guides.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to SAP users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system bugs or configuration problems.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Train end-users and provide knowledge transfer to ensure they can effectively use SAP systems.

Qualifications:


  • Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

SAP Experience:


  • In-depth knowledge of one or more SAP modules (e.g., SAP FICO, MM, SD, HCM).
  • SAP configuration experience, including custom development.
  • Experience with SAP ERP implementations or upgrades.
  • Proficient in SAP configuration, ABAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP integration tools (e.g., IDocs, ALE, BAPIs).
  • Strong understanding of database systems and SQL queries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and map them to technical solutions.

Communication & Collaboration:


  • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including business and IT professionals.

Other Preferred Skills:


  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience with project management tools like Jira or SAP Solution Manager.
  • Understanding of data migration, change management, and system testing strategies.
  • Preferred Certifications:
  • SAP Certified Application Associate.
  • Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA
