Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we want you to join our diverse team as a Manager, Project Management 3 located in Palmdale, CA.

You will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Duties include:
  • Review status of projects and budgets.
  • Manage schedules and prepare status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 16 yrs of professional/military experience that includes a background in project management or program management and a High School diploma or equivalent; A Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in project management or program management, or a master's degree and 5 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in project management or program management may also be considered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements and meet medical requirements and vaccinations for worldwide travel.
  • Able/willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A current DoD Secret.
  • A current Top Secret clearance is most preferred.
  • Aviation and Aerospace Industry Operational Logistics supervisory experience.
  • An excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, database software, relevant authoring utilities and software, or related development tools required.
Salary Range: $149,400 - $224,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
