Opportunity Summary:
The Cyber & Digital Risk Management (C&DR) Cyber Excellence and Portfolio Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and prioritizing the global record of cybersecurity demand for BD. T his role ensures the delivery of the portfolio and provides real-time insights into the C&DR Portfolio and organizational health. The C&DR Portfolio team is crucial to delivering value to BD's partners through portfolio execution and maintaining the highest levels of ethical, legal, and regulatory compliance.

Opportunity Summary:
The Cyber & Digital Risk Management (C&DR) Cyber Excellence and Portfolio Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and prioritizing the global record of cybersecurity demand for BD. T his role ensures the delivery of the portfolio and provides real-time insights into the C&DR Portfolio and organizational health. The C&DR Portfolio team is crucial to delivering value to BD's partners through portfolio execution and maintaining the highest levels of ethical, legal, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the build, execution, improvement and adoption of the C&DR Operating Model that includes prioritization, collaboration, and delivery of the portfolio
- Manage overall Portfolio Status and Health ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Coach and consult with Project Managers to enable effective planning and project execution excellence.
- Drive the planning, preparation, and review of C&DR's Portfolio in partnership with C&DR's leadership team and Technology & Global Services (TGS) partners where necessary.
- Support the Annual Strategic Review (ASR) process for C&DR ensuring rigorous prioritization, budgeting, and resource alignment.
- Support the C&DR team with the use of Planview, coaching others as they use the platform.
- Regularly engage C&DR teams to understand, evaluate and continuously improve processes and procedures within and among our towers to drive efficiency and strong collaboration.
- Develop and maintain C&DR operational and executive level KPIs that share the value our organization provides to BD as well as the evolving maturity of BD's security posture.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing methodologies such as DMAIC to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science , information systems or a related field is required .
- Master's degree is highly desirable.
- PMP or similarly recognized certification is preferred.
- Training in process methodology (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) is a plus.
- 7+ years of demonstrated ability in portfolio and project management required
- Experience with project budgets and resource planning required
- Ability to identify and engage key partners for successful project execution.
- Proven ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods.
- Experience in a matrixed organization and overcoming ambiguity.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to evaluate and recommend improvements.
- Knowledge of Portfolio and Project management tools such as Planview required.
