Job Description

This is a 12-week full-time summer internship based in Sunnyvale, Mountain View, San Francisco, or New York.

LinkedIn is looking for enthusiastic interns to join our Marketing team. Interns will work closely with LinkedIn’s world class Talent Solutions, Sales & Marketing Solutions or Consumer Marketing teams and learn about being a marketing professional.

While the function of the internship will remain relatively similar across all teams, the responsibilities and projects will differ according to the specific team you are aligned with.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with executing marketing strategy, campaigns, and events
  • Work closely with cross-functional marketing teams to drive the business & product marketing strategy
  • Help build internal microsites
  • End-to-end development of marketing assets
  • Collect and parse user feedback to influence strategy
  • Basic analysis on campaign performance and provide recommendations and insights based on data


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing BA/BS degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or related field
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program and returning to school the term following your summer internship


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong project management and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to think innovatively
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with various teams and departments
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to take insights or data and translate them into a compelling story
  • Basic marketing experience, whether through coursework, internships, or projects

The pay range for this role is $30 USD per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
