Finance Director

Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Director to work for our client located in Dublin. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support key business decisions and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Monitor financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analysis.
• Manage cash flow planning, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize liquidity and support the company's financial stability.
• Monitor and analyze cash flow trends, identify risks, and propose strategies for improvement.
• Supervise and provide leadership to the finance team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and systems, implementing necessary controls and processes.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and drive sustainable growth.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, assess risks, and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 8+ years of Finance experience
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
• Excellent leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to diverse stakeholders.
