The Eligibility Specialist provides support to the Revenue Cycle team by conducting patient insurance eligibility reviews for upcoming appointments

  • This is a remote role but must reside in Georgia or Texas*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other

duties may be assigned.

  • Verify insurance coverage for upcoming appointments
  • Obtain insurance summaries when changes are identified
  • Update patient files with most current insurance information available
  • Identifies, maintains and protects sensitive HIPAA information (PHI) and follows

procedures to ensure the security of such information.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements

System Requirements for Remote Work:

 Active ID.ME account (required for access to insurance site)

 Reliable internet access, recommended minimum speed of 5mb

 Laptop or PC with the following:

  • Windows 11
  • I5 Processor (I9 preferred)
  • 16 GB Ram
  • 500 SSD

 Keyboard with numeric keypad

 Access to webcam, microphone and speaker
