Job Summary:
Are you a passionate Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of software testing? We're seeking a talented individual to join our team at the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) Agency Services, supporting the client.
As a QA Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your expertise in manual and automation testing, combined with your experience in Agile and Waterfall development projects, will be essential in delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Testing: Collaborate with product owners and development teams to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies and plans.
- Test Case Development: Write and document comprehensive test cases using DevOps or other Agile tools.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, identify defects, and track remediation efforts.
- Test Automation: Leverage automation tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Defect Management: Manage defect tracking and reporting processes.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
- Agile: 5+ years of experience working on Agile and Waterfall development projects.
- Test Case Development: 5+ years of experience writing and documenting test cases.
- Java and Oracle: 7+ years of experience testing Java-based applications and Oracle databases.
- Agile Testing Strategies: 7+ years of experience developing Agile testing strategies and test plans.
- User Stories: 5+ years of experience translating Agile User Stories into test cases.
- Teamwork: 7+ years of experience working independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Test Automation: Experience writing test scripts with automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Automation Coordination: Experience coordinating Agile automated testing with QA and development teams.
- Java Coding: Experience coding with Java to write test automation scripts.
