Protean Med is seeking a dynamic Healthcare Locum Recruiter to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will work proactively to grow our Locum Tenens service line by connecting with physicians and introducing them to rewarding locum tenens opportunities. You ll play a critical role in building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, providing them with an exceptional experience, and ensuring their successful placements in temporary roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and recruit qualified physicians for locum tenens assignments.
  • Develop relationships with prospective candidates, understanding their professional goals, and qualifying them for suitable job opportunities.
  • Educate candidates on the personal and professional benefits of a locum tenens career.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including strategic planning and referrals, to generate leads.
  • Maintain strong, lasting relationships with both internal teams and external candidates.
  • Continuously seek improvement in recruitment practices, with opportunities for career advancement.
  • Demonstrate a strong motivation to achieve results and meet recruiting goals.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Emphasize a client-centered mentality and a passion for providing top-notch customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree.
  • 2+ years experience in staffing or recruitment is required.
  • Passionate about creating exceptional experiences for healthcare professionals.
  • Out-of-the-box thinker with a career-oriented mindset and a drive for advancement.
  • Enthusiastic about being part of a growing recruiting organization that recognizes and nurtures talent.
  • Experience with VMS and MSP will be an added plus
  • Must have a go-getter attitude and quick-to-learn attitude
