BI Developer with QlikView

Our direct end client needs help with BI development for the purpose of harvesting QlikView. This is a short term contract. Position is 100% remote. Pay rate is $70-75 w2.

Practical and current Qlikview and PowerBI experience are critical.

Here are the services required for the QV migration as well as the skills/qualifications we are looking for.

Services Required
Migrate solutions from Qlikview to another BI tool, mainly Power BI and SAP Web Intelligence
Design comprehensive data visualizations translating complex requirements into an optimal technical design
Build dashboards and reports using mainly Power BI
Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging and unit testing

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
Fluent in English
Detail oriented, self-directed and strong independent problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
Strong analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and exercise task specific project plans with minimal supervision
Familiar with Data Warehouse concepts
Advanced data modeling and model optimization experience in Power BI
Advanced experience with DAX and Power Query
5 8 years of experience creating Power BI solutions, including data visualizations and modeling

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Cross-Functional SAP areas such as SD, MM, FI and SAP Master Data
Advanced SQL experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or Masters degree
Knowledge of Power BI security models including row level security
Experience with creating Qlikview solutions
Experience with Snowflake
Jira Tool
