Job Description:

  • Experienced Payments Technology Specialist with a strong background in SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022 standards, and migration projects.
  • The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of payments and messaging rules, and a proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst (BA), Product Owner (PO), and/or Project Manager/Scrum Master involved in large-scale migration initiatives.
  • You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful migration of payment messaging systems to the ISO 20022 standard, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the migration of payment systems from legacy messaging (MT) to ISO 20022, ensuring adherence to all industry regulations and timelines.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on SWIFT messaging standards (MT) and ISO 20022, advising teams on best practices for payment processing and messaging compliance.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management, including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, technology teams, and external partners to ensure smooth migration and minimal disruption to payment services.
  • Act as a key liaison between business units and IT, ensuring all messaging and payment solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
  • Facilitate Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog prioritization, to drive progress in migration initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
