  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer to join our Information Technology team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications.

The primary responsibility for this role is to develop and implement advanced solutions in alignment within our standards, guidelines, and design documentation. The candidate will perform coding, testing, debugging, and provide high-quality solutions for large-scale enterprise systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with both technical and non-technical staff to ensure seamless coordination of changes prepare test data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems meet availability and performance requirements. Strong technical proficiency and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Candidate to work on the following initiatives and will perform advanced analysis/programming tasks such as:

  • Participating in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle, including design, software development and code review.
  • Performing extensive code reviews and analysis.
  • Writing reports on code analysis to determine if industry standards and best practices are being followed; provide analysis to address found short comings.
  • Providing guidance and knowledge sharing to existing development staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You:

  • 5 + years of expertise making code changes in accordance with standards, guidelines, and design documents provided.
  • 5 + years of proficiency coordinating the testing, debugging, and preparing of test data and interacting with technical and non-technical staff in the coordination of changes.
  • 5 + years of professional background in software development building production software systems.
  • 5 + years of familiarity with IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS.
  • 5 + years of experience in IBM DB2 for z/OS.
  • 5 + years of hands-on work with MVS/JCL.
  • 5 + years of involvement in data integration and data quality.
  • 5 + years of practice with Software AG's NATURAL.
  • 5 + years of engagement with highly complex application security requirements.
  • 2 + years of involvement with any of the Texas Statewide Financial Systems: USAS, USPS, SPRS, TINS, HRIS, and SPA.
  • 2 + years of background in Agile development experience with Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.
  • 2 + years of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • 5 + years of expertise in CICS Web Services preferred.
  • 5 + years of familiarity with CONTROL-M for z/OS preferred.
  • 5 + years of public sector engagement (Federal, State, or Local Government) preferred.
  • 5 + years of practice designing and implementing secure RESTful web services preferred.
  • 5 + years of involvement with code reviews, in-depth code analysis, and completing system documentation preferred.
  • 2 + years of background in developing and implementing containerized web applications in the cloud with high proficiency in one or more languages from our stack (REACT JS, Node JS, Python, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, etc.) preferred.
  • 2 + years of hands-on expertise in Core AWS Services like CloudFront, EC2, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, Route53, AWS CDK, SNS & SQS preferred.
  • 2 + years of practice building apps using Python, React JS, NodeJS, web services, and writing RESTful interfaces preferred.
  • 2 + years of involvement designing and implementing secure RESTful web services preferred.
  • 1 + year of practice designing and building Microservices preferred.
  • 1 + year of background with Agile teams that have iteratively and incrementally delivered software while practicing code review preferred.
  • 1 + year of familiarity with the Java programming language preferred.
  • 1 + year of experience with coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior level software developers and other personnel as required preferred.
  • 1 + year of expertise in BMC Code Pipeline (formerly Compuware ISPW) preferred.
  • 1 + year of insight into Topaz preferred.
  • 1 + year of understanding of IDz, Eclipse for Mainframe preferred.
